Once we have your form we will calculate the trade-in value. We will be in touch within 24 hours with an offer.

How do you gauge the value of my bike?

We use sales channels such as ebay and other used market sites to get a market value of your bike. We then look at the condition and age of your bike and will calculate a fair offer based on these factors.

Can I trade my bike against a new bike which is on a sale?

The answer to this is possibly. We will look at the numbers closely and may still be able to offer a trade-in against a sale bike. We will let you know either way.

Can I trade-in my expensive bike for a cheaper model?

Yes, you can. If we decide to accept the trade-in we are happy to offer a bike and cash as part of the deal. We believe people should be allowed to trade-down, not just up!

Why has my trade-in request been rejected?

There are a number of reasons we ay have declined your request. Common reasons are exceptionally poor condition, broken frame-set, too niche a bike model or brand, zero value of bike. If we do decline a trade-in we will always give you a reason why.

Does the condition of my bike effect the trade-in value?

Well to be honest, it might well do. We are super honest and will give you a fair value reflective of the age, condition and appeal of the bike.

Do I need to supply the original purchase reciept?

It certainly helps (especially with electric bikes). We will trade-in bikes without reciepts but we do our due diligence to ensure the bike hasn't been stolen etc.

Can I trade-in multiple bikes against a new one?

We do take multiple bikes as a trade-in package. Because there is more work for us we will offer less per bike than we would for a single trade-in.

Can I change my mind?

This is a tricky one. Of course, if the sale has not been completed and bikes haven't changed hands then there is no problem to stop the process. However, if the deal has been done and we have your old bike and you have your new one we cannot swap back. The simple reason being that we may have already sold your trade-in and we can't just take it back off the buyer!

Can I pay the difference with a cycle-scheme voucher?

Yes you can. There may well be an additional % charge for the trade-in or the trade-in offer might be slightly less than for a cash sale but it will likely still be in your interest.

Will you just buy my bike without a trade-in?

We probably will not offer to buy your bike outright unless the price is too good for us to refuse. Margins are tight in the bike trade so it's unlikely we offer you what the bike deserves. If you're desperate for a quick sale then hit us up with a price we can't refuse!
