At Fife Cycles, we’ve been looking forward to this one. The new Trek Checkpoint+ fills a real gap in the market — a proper electric gravel bike that’s just as happy exploring forest tracks as it is carrying you through the daily commute.
The Domane+ has been a great option for riders after a versatile road bike that can manage some gravel too. But the Checkpoint+ takes things further. It’s built from the ground up as an e-gravel bike, with the space for big tyres, the right geometry, and fittings for racks and guards — making it as useful for bikepacking and touring as it is for weekend gravel rides.
Quiet Power, Practical Design
All models use Trek’s TQ HPR60 motor. It delivers a quiet, natural boost with 60Nm of torque, backed up by a 360Wh battery that has plenty of range for a long day out. If you want to push things even further, an extender battery can be added.
The Checkpoint+ clears up to 50 mm tyres, giving it the grip and comfort you need for mixed terrain. With mounts for bags, racks and guards, it’s ready for everyday use as well as big adventures.

OCLV Carbon frame, Shimano GRX 12-speed drivetrain, TQ HPR60 motor and 360Wh battery.

Checkpoint+ SL 6 AXS – £5,000
Upgrades to SRAM GX AXS 12-speed wireless shifting.
Checkpoint+ SL 7 AXS – £6,500
Adds a RockShox Rudy XPLR 40 mm fork, SRAM Force AXS E1 drivetrain, OCLV Carbon Bontrager Aeolus Elite 35V wheels and a carbon seatpost for comfort.
Colours are limited, but Trek has chosen them well — clean and understated.
