The Shimano Deore RD-M5120-SGS is the long cage version of the M5120 rear derailleur, designed for 10 and 11-speed drivetrains with wide range cassettes. The SGS (super long) cage handles up to 46T in a 1x10 setup or 42T in 2x10/2x11 configurations, making it a versatile choice for trail, XC, and gravel bikes running larger cassettes.

Shadow RD+ technology combines a low-profile design to avoid rock strikes with a clutch-based chain stabiliser that reduces chain bounce, chain slap and chain drop on rough terrain. Switch the clutch on for technical descents, off for easier wheel removal.
