The Magic Mary is the undisputed favourite among Schwalbe's downhill and enduro athletes, and the new Radial version rewrites the rulebook. Its aggressive, open intermediate tread bites into loose, wet and muddy Scottish trails for huge braking traction and cornering grip — while the all-new radial carcass takes control and comfort to a level conventional tyres can't touch.

Instead of the usual 45° bias-ply layout, the radial plies run far closer to 90° across the tyre — like automotive rubber. The carcass deforms more selectively and flexes around obstacles, giving around 30% more contact area at the same pressure (still 15% more even with 50% more air in). The result: more grip, more damping, more control and a noticeably more muted, planted ride.
