The Maxxis Forekaster sits in the sweet spot of the Maxxis mountain bike range. When the Rekon isn't enough tyre and a Minion is too much, the Forekaster is your answer. Designed for downcountry and short-travel trail bikes (100–130mm), it rolls fast, corners confidently, and handles a wide variety of Scottish trail conditions — from hardpack flow trails to loamy, rooty singletrack.
This version carries the E50 certification, making it fully legal and optimised for e-MTBs governed at up to 50 km/h. The EXO+ casing adds a butyl insert at the bead on top of the EXO sidewall protection, offering enhanced resistance to pinch flats and rim strikes — ideal for the added weight and torque of an eMTB.
