The Maxxis Dissector was designed in collaboration with Australian DH racer Troy Brosnan with one goal: go faster. The unique tread pattern combines the aggressive braking knobs of a gravity tyre with a faster-rolling centre profile, making it one of the most versatile rear tyres in the Maxxis lineup.

This build steps up to the DoubleDown (DD) casing — two layers of 120 TPI casing reinforced with a butyl sidewall insert — giving enduro-level protection alongside 3C MaxxGrip, Maxxis' stickiest compound. The combination suits riders who want the Dissector's rolling speed and cornering profile but need more casing durability than EXO+ offers, particularly for bike park laps, heavier e-MTBs, or rockier trails.
